A cold grey day in July and after a walk around the bridges I decided to have a bit of a “shufty” in my two front gardens. It was while forking between the snapdragons and primulas, which are looking surprisingly good for this time of year, I though about writing a Blog. I’m a blog virgin you see. I am on Facebook but I read somewhere recently that people will unfriend you if you brag too much on FB and I’m always putting up posts about how much I love my garden and how fantastic it is to eat our own produce… I’m sure people get fed up with it on their feed.

So this Blog is for me to follow the progress of our garden through the year without boring anyone else to tears.

This is a rose called “My Mum”. My Mum is my garden inspiration and this rose epitomises how I feel about her.
